Daily Writing Prompt

Sandesha-kavya (Sanskrit Poetry Form): Write a poem that is addressed to a non-human element (a cloud, the wind, a bird) asking it to carry a message to a distant lover. The first half of the poem must describe the geography and landmarks the messenger will see on its journey. The second half describes the emotional state of the person receiving the message.
